The Ministry of Transport of Ukraine
One of the oldest and the tallest skyscrapers in the Ukrainian capital was built in 1986- the building of the Computing Centre of Aeroflot, which now houses the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
Moreover, the building was in 2003, virtually rebuilt again – the supporting frame left from the original building.
Back in 1986, the building became the first “pancake” experience of a multi-storeyed building construction, as the builders at that time had no skills to construct these high-rises, and they had o related materials – because of this the facility for many years has not been functioning.
But now a 28-story “Giant” is beautifully decorating Kiev, flashing with green tinted windows and a globe on the roof. It stands on the Pobedy Avenue, 14.
During Reconstruction in 2003 utilities, including ventilation, communications, energy, water and heat have been updated.
Now, employees of the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine, who previously worked in offices located in different districts of Kiev, are collected in one place.
