Theatre for Young People
In 1924, Alexander Solomarsky and Irina Deeva founded in the Lypky Kyiv Academic Youth Theater. It was opened on November 8 with the premiere of the first performance on the story tales of Kipling “Mougli”.
Since 1991, the director Viktor Girich manages the theatre. Understanding the psychology of the child, it creates a setting so that every child is imbued with strong emotional experiences that the development of the plot motivated a little man for expression of sympathy, aroused interest in the magic power of art.
The director considers his task the creation of Youth Theatre, to appeal to a younger generation winning the power of love and kindness. With the help of fairy tales, musicals, tragedies and farces he wants to educate humanity and decency, empathy.
At all times the theatre was and remains a symbol of spirituality, so it speaks on the eternal values of young people in an understandable language. For this purpose it uses modern styles of art and music, seamlessly combines an external brightness with the spiritual content of the performances, very strong and powerfully touching the strings of the heart, emotions and intellect.
Performances of the theatre don’t leave indifferent your audience – kids, teenagers and adults.
