Kiev’s Zoo officialy started to work on March, 21, 1909. Its ecosystem consists of couple thousands of animals and plants. It situated at the square more than 34 hectares.
Here you can see an animals from Africa such as rhinoceroses, elephants, zebras, and giraffes.
There are an exotical birds which live in two ponds such as pelicans and flamingos.
Other birds live in the rest of ponds. Besides birds have a separate pavilion.Also there are an aquarium-terrarium, monkeys povilion, young growth area.
You can also enjoy seing other exotical animals kangaroo, guanaco, ilamas. There are also represented ruffed sheeps, David deerand bisons.
There are different representatives of the feline, camels, bears, Przewalski’s horses.
